Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? —Luke 6:41
A Prayer: Lord, help me not to get caught up in pointing out the “little” sins in others’ lives, while ignoring my own glaring sin. I’m thankful that with repentance comes forgiveness. Amen.
Inspect our own life before we look for specks in others.
One of my friend posted this on facebook. So true, we often see specks in people's lives, whether we did it knowingly/unknowingly. I, am guilty of this sometimes, perhaps its just a tendency, for human to see the flaws rather than the positive part of the person. Another friend of mine posted this not long ago : " when you judge, you stop knowing the person anymore". Yes, when you judge, tendency is that you do not want to have anything related/do with that full of imperfections guy/girl.
Yeah, I always remind myself, it's better to keep my mouth shut, because when you start to judge someone, others will judge you at the same time too. Else if you cannot resist the urge, at least give constructive suggestions/ more positive feedback, it will change how others look at you.
IM HUNGRY~
