hi ! , these few days has been really busy, with the parties all around, the staying over and going out every single day, which explains why my pocket got a big hole!
i'm excited for HK two days later, where i get to spend quality time with grandparents over there, i guess i'm lugging a luggage over due to the heavy jacket i borrowed from my dad. plus all the misc stuffs that needed to be brought over! i really pray for a good time spent there with the Boys, and my grandparents. =)
a busy one

hi! it has been long since i blogged. this dec is really busy man! all the staying out to bond and the christmas parties!
yeah this is the zoo trip which tjw and i woke up early for! the pictures will tell all!

this is what jw do with her life too!

she was actually quite afraid that the bird would peck her!

aha. i was quite afraid i would be on the news for the 2nd attack in zoo too and that explains the one arm distance

this is credible evidence to show i apply what i learn from BB in my daily life!

100% perfect imitation~

this is a monkey sleeping. they really look like real humans

saying hi to her family members

the famous white tigers

hahaa. this was a cute pic of the lioness!

the beautiful croc

she's very happy that she saw her family members at the zoo!

these three pics above were taken by the dustbin! haha. as in we placed the camera on self timer on top of the dustbin. it turned out quite nice ; )
what i enjoyed about the zoo were the croc and the white tigers! they are really magnificent! i really love the croc and i hope next time i get a chance to see them up close! hoho.
really thank God for the nice weather without rain, and we were able to see all the animals! none were asleep and hiding from us. haha.

hey look here! this is a pic i took at the canal beside BB HQ. i looked into the canal and thought i saw a croc was so excited man! but it was a komodo dragon instead swimming in the canal. haha but it was a pleasant surprise! it was really a huge one! but we didnt call the animal catcher though.
hope i can catch a croc swimming the next time!
Maybes
Monday, December 15, 2008 @ 1:54 AM
maybe i should have..
maybe i should not have...
maybe if i .....
maybe..
maybe..
life is sometimes full of maybes? haha. yes i experienced one today! a hard one. i was contemplating between going for old Boys gathering got 4C BBQ. i made up my mind in the end to go for the gathering though. it was quite disappointing that the older batch did not turn up, and after the whole thing i thought M-A-Y-B-E i should have went for the BBQ .
hmm. this is where i understand what uncle daniel said the other time that when you commit, sacrifices are bound to be made. and some sacrifices are really those of that is of a pinch to you.

gonna expect people cry, people look stunned, people dont know what to do, people blaming others. ha. its part of the whole camp.
i really hope to enjoy this three weeks to the max, with everyday packed ler and its gonna be spelt as F-U-N! haha.
also happy for those who finished their exams , then they dont need to stress their white hair out and can go have fun properly without all the burden to study!

MUTTON BRIYANI WITH WHITE RICE IS NICE ! = )
Lets Go!
Tuesday, December 9, 2008 @ 12:06 PM

this were our new youth polo tee which i think is nice!\
(btw it was funny doreen who got us to button up our shirts for the nerd look!)

i also love the camp com polo tee! i dont really have yellow shirts , thats why i like it too, plus the simplicity of the design of the logo on the shirt !(i really love the camp com shirt!)
from 6th-8th dec, it was the Let's Go youth camp!
one night before it started the camp committee went to stayover to finish up any last min work that needed to be rushed. was glad to finish up most of the stuffs for games even though we only slept for 2hours.
actually throughout the whole camp, i really thank God for many things.
-for healing of my flu before the camp commences
-for favor with people, that i made many new friends! even those little teens whom i dont even know that they came and talk to me and i became friends with them!
-for making this camp a real special and interesting camp for me
-for giving me a special experience during HS night
this camp , i believe will etch a strong memory in my mind. esp today when i hear the words "Let's go" in lesson time and yeah. i specially enjoy the part where i get to experience a whole new experience by being in the committee. i think what i really enjoyed the most were to make new friends, to know others better, people in the committee, and other people.
the prize presentation were good too! esp the part where the groups did their cheers! i agree with nich, that this year we have a few good cheers. BFC's cheer were great and amusing! haha. so creative man !
i experienced a lot of team spirit from the groups who participated actively in the games, esp for my station. faith and ken's teams were really spontaneous when the guys crawled slowly through the fruits so that they can try to "absorb" as many rubbish as they could so that the girls will have a cleaner path! that's really great team spirit you know!
i believe the leaders did a great job in assimilating their members to be participative, to gel their members, to serve them and a lot more!
really thank God for these leaders, for the time well spent in this camp. for making this camp so enjoyable despite all the clean-up after the games.
i remembered the first day, during ministry. i prayed real hard, for my good friend, for my Boys. its really great to see some of them being touched by God on HS night. its really a unexplainable joy!
i think this whole camp, is really wonderful = ) that's the best man. like what ernie told me before about his experience, about why he is willing to be the head of camp. he said that theres a lot of stress, a lot of work and responsibility involved. but he mentioned that he look foreard to the part where people come and thank you, and tell you that they enjoyed the camp. that's the thing he looked forward to, and it really worth more than someone giving you a million dollar. haha. its really true. but of course if someone gives me a mil, i will also be damn super too lah. ; )
really thankful for all these little happenings ,experience, and the fresh touch from God.
pressure with your name?
Monday, December 1, 2008 @ 4:13 PM
last monday, a new facil came in to relief. as usual, she questioned about my name. and from there, she asked me a question : " do you face pressure living up to your name?"
so i smiled at her at said not really lah. anyway, that question came up to me just now.
so my mind searched the past history of what i have went through since young. i remembered in primary school, teachers passed remarks like "eh your name call smarties you really smart anot?", "i thought you supposed to be very smart, why this easy question you also cannot solve?".
haha, sadly, only those which are more negative are stuck in my head.
actually in primary school, it was more challenging for me to "live up" to my name. i almost faces pressure everyday in school whenever i cannot accomplish something or cant answer certain question, my own name will be used against me.
i dont know maybe that is the reverse psychology tactic that my teachers uses to push me. but i guess it had certain effect on me though.
of course, i'm very satisfied with my own name. esp whenever new people asked me how did my name came about, and they would be so interested, and some maybe fascinated about my name. but i'm glad that it could stir up this curiosity, and this is one good way for people to be interested to know me, and it actually break the barrier of the "icebreaking" part you see
; )
@ 10:37 AM
=) today is a happy day! as usual, i'm on time for school. but hor, on the train i was watching sawIII, then i almost puke. cause got this scene where the surgeon cut up the jigsaw's head. its quite disturbing, then i stopped watching ler.
yeah. and i really enjoy the breeze while walking to school, and all the time spent with my mp3. these are some of the things you can do when you dont have a car. but of course on the other hand, there are the "pros" for having cars too
1 sam 16:7 talks about God looking on the inside , not the outside of men. i think a lot of times we really have to re-examine the "inside" of us, before we make say judgements or complain about stuffs around. sometime we dont see the state that God has blessed us with. and thats really sound contradicting, esp when you try to pass certain judgements onto others when you dont realise that you yourself may be in similar boat as the person
that is also the same as storing your treasures in the eternity and not try to accumulate earthly treasures! i really feel sad sometimes when dear friends of mine go after temporary fame etc.. but often missed the more important treasure in life.
haha its like putting a 100note in front of you but you choose to go for the 50 dollar note ."of course i will go for both! =) "
thank God for caring classmates. its really fast that this semester is going to end soon. and the whole dec is quite packed for me! with all the BB events, camps, christmas parties, birthday celebrations, BBQ gatherings. yeah. its really busy.

beautiful sunset = )
